- Raspberry leaf: Strengthens the uterine muscles while toning the pelvic floor in preparation for childbirth. In addition it also assists with breastmilk supply. Studies have shown that women who take red raspberry leaf have a reduced incidence of birth interventions.
- Peppermint: Helps to settle an upset stomach, while assisting with nausea and vomiting, which is common in early pregnancy.
- Alfalfa leaf: Contains Vitamin A, D, E and K; particularly good in later pregnancy to boost Vitamin K, which helps prevent postpartum haemorrhaging.
- Rosehip: Assists with chronic strain of the kidney and poor control of the bladder.
- Chamomile: Chamomile is sometimes called a “herbal aspirin” since it’s been a popular home remedy for lowering pain for centuries. Chamomile flowers are used alone or in combination with other anti-inflammatory foods, helps and flowers to reduce pain, congestion, swelling and redness
- Wild yam: Relaxes the central nervous system and smooth muscle tissues, thereby assisting with colic, gallstones, cramping, intestinal inflammation and nervousness.
